We visit Brussels to gain information on the situation there. Below we explain what we did there, what our goals were and how we achieved them.
Brussels is the city in which the prototype of our project is going to be tested. Therefore, it seemed logical to us to go there and have a look at the actual road situation; Both to gain inspiration, aswell as to gather information about the city. Good insight in the current situation will definitely benefit our project and is therefore a great time investment for research.
We left to Brussels at around 12:00 AM and returned at 6:30 PM. Below are three of the several pictures that we took:
It really showed us how small the streets are and how few biking facilities were available, which we really need to take into account in our design.
We're looking forward to applying this information tomorrow when we'll be creating our three concepts.
